Have you ever wondered how to upgrade your investing? Then you have come at the right place.
Managing your own stock portfolio is not always easy in fluctuating markets. From Growth To Value’s Potential Multibaggers have crushed the market.
Kris, that’s me, the man behind FGTV, can also help you to do the same.
I picked Shopify (SHOP) at $77.36 on May 2, 2017 and in just 3 years it went up by more than 900%; In December 2018, I picked Okta (OKTA) at $64.55 and it’s up more than 200% now.
In December 2019, I picked a stock that was already up 135% just 5 months later. That stock still has a lot of growth left in the tank.
Unlike many other stock pickers, I’m not afraid to show you my losers and to talk about them. 37.5% of my picks (as of June 2020) are down. That’s just a part of investing and I teach you about how you can deal with losers too.
But the winners make up for the losers in a big way. Shopify alone wipes out all of the losers and still manages to be a multibagger after that, up 100s of percentages.
Three years after the inception of the Potential Multibaggers (May 2020), the stocks were up more than 80% on average per pick, while the market was essentially flat.
I’m is not a financial advisor, so I don’t give any personalized investment advice. I also doesn’t trade with your money, that’s up to you. But I can be your guide with my knowledge, my experience and my insight. I can be your coach to learn you how you can set up your own portfolio of Potential Multibaggers.
After all, who cares more about your money than you? Why would you give it in someone else’s hands? With my help and your dedication, you may outperform the biggest professional fund managers.
What you can learn from my story
When my lovely wife Ruth was pregnant at the end of 2013, I felt a primal feeling from deep inside. I had to do something to gather for my unborn child and I decided to do that through investing in the best possible way.
But, as so many others, I made all the investment mistakes possible: averaging down too much, too much action, selling winners, falling for penny stocks, trading on margin, and all of the other things that make you lose money instead of compounding it.
That initial failure only fueled my thirst for more knowledge about the stock market and I started reading investment books, read literally 1000s of articles and blog posts, listened to hundreds of podcast episodes and audiobooks, all to become the best investor possible for my unborn child.
I found Seeking Alpha, the biggest crowd-sourced stock platform in the world. After I only read articles, later I started commenting too. Those comments got longer and longer and after a long comment, another commenter wrote that my comments were often longer and more interesting than the articles.
He said that I should consider starting to write articles myself. So I did. I have now written hundreds of articles and thousands of people follow me on Seeking Alpha. If you too want to follow me there, I still publish free articles there. You can find me here.
I mainly invest in growth stocks that can grow at a very high rate for very long periods of time. If you keep those for the long term, they really give extraordinary results, 1000s of percentages, so-called multibaggers. With Shopify, I already have picked my first tenbagger (a stock returns 10 times the original money). My ultimate goal is to find a 100 bagger. This will of course take time, but I’m patient.
With just one of such great performers in your portfolio, you will outperform the market by a very wide margin. I want to help you find such opportunities for the next decades.
There Is No ‘One-Size-Fits-All’ Formula
For a lot of people, just buying a cheap tracker or ETF will be the best way of investing. I can show you how you can handle your own money and have market-returns of 8% to 10% annually with just about an hour of work yearly.
But if you want more, I can show you how you can buy excellent stocks that could become 10 baggers or even 100 baggers over time.
Personal information
My name is Kris and I am 43 years old, married to my lovely wife Ruth and together we are the proud parents of our daughter, who’s 6 now. We also have a cat, appropriately named Stressless.
My hobbies are badminton, road bike racing, mountain biking. That sounds really ambitious but trust me, I am not that good. I just enjoy it a lot. And my other hobby prevents me from having the perfect body you might expect judging by the sports: cooking.
I also love reading and writing. For reading: I am an avid reader, both fiction and non-fiction. I try to read at least 10,000 pages each year.
Music is also a long-standing love. I like a lot of genres: singer-songwriters (Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Elliot Smith…), country (Johnny Cash), classic rock (Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young), grunge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam…), classical music (e.g. Requiem in D Minor, Mozart) and lots of other things that don’t fit in a category (The Prodigy, Tom Waits, Counting Crows, U2, The Beatles and many more). I even like metal (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Tool…)
